These traditional patterns from the Democratic Republic of Congo celebrate our culture, and are especially dedicated to customary wedding attire for men and women. The Kuba Kingdom brought together Bantu peoples. The geometric patterns represent the ethnic group's body scarifications or sculpture decorations. These refined fabrics were intended for use at the royal court, as seating or covers, to enhance its prestige.
